Our Training Approach
Training
We anticipate and meet our clients’ needs. Regulatory change can bring improved workplace practices and standards; but it can also bring the unknown and may sometimes be unclear or confusing. At Hazard Alert Training, we know that you need advanced knowledge, interpretive information and sometimes just the facts.
Quality
As more is understood about how adults learn, it is reasonable to expect that OH & S training providers are knowledgeable, and that their
knowledge will be applied to the design of their materials and workshops.
Our instructional designers, adult learning theory specialists and subject matter experts all work together to ensure the design of a successful training experience.
We are currently designing ‘blended training packages’ combining an online theory and knowledge based component with a practical and interactive workshop experience.
Service
Our company’s drive to anticipate our clients’ needs for current regulatory information has led to the outstanding demand for, and response to, the HANDI-GUIDE to Alberta’s OH & S Act, Regulation and Code.
It’s not just the thought put into the ‘packaging’ – the size and convenience – it’s the interpretive content and overall practicality of this
product that has been heralded by our clients – and OH & S stakeholders – as ‘a service to industry’.
Goal
“Our primary business goal is to be the Canadian provider of choice for core OH & S training and training materials.”
We are a Canadian company, with a strong customer base nationally and beyond. Our team works hard to know the Canadian field of workplace health and safety, as well as to monitor and interpret provincial, territorial and federal legislation. We work with a competent team of subject matter experts who are knowledgeable about Canadian OH & S laws.

OH & S Community & Our Future
The children are our future, yet our youth – “young persons”* - are a high-risk group, meaning that they are particularly likely to sustain injuries when they first go into the workplace. What are we doing to protect our youth?
Hazard Alert Training is a proud supporter of the Job Safety Skills Society (JSSS). JSSS is a Canadian, non-for-profit organization dedicated to helping young workers to avoid injuries on the job.
Hazard Alert Training Inc. is taking action to ensure the future is bright…and safe.
